What you will learn

Course Overview

In today’s dynamic business environment, effective team management is a key driver of organizational success. The course “Team Management — Effective Techniques and Best Practices” is designed for managers and leaders who want to improve their skills in managing people, motivating teams, and building leadership authority. Participants will learn modern methods and practical tools to lead teams more effectively, increase performance, and build positive workplace relationships.

Course program

  1. Introduction to team management

    • We start with the core concepts of team management. We discuss the role and impact of effective leadership in an organization, as well as the challenges of working with people. Participants will understand why strong team management is essential for achieving business goals.
  2. Situational leadership techniques (Blanchard & Hersey)

    • This module introduces situational leadership, which focuses on adapting your management style to employees’ maturity and competence levels. Participants learn how to apply different leadership styles depending on the situation—so they can respond more effectively to their team’s needs.
  3. Employee motivation based on an original list of 37 motivators

    • Motivating people is a cornerstone of effective leadership. We present an original list of 37 motivators that helps participants understand what drives their teams. You will learn how to use these motivators in practice to increase engagement and job satisfaction.
  4. Improving personal effectiveness in teamwork

    • A manager’s personal effectiveness directly impacts team performance. We cover time management techniques such as planning, GTD, the Eisenhower Matrix, and the Pareto Principle. Participants learn how to organize work and priorities more effectively to raise productivity across the team.
  5. Communication predispositions and the impact of communication style on authority

    • Communication is critical in leadership. Participants explore different communication styles and how they influence a leader’s credibility and authority. We analyze individual communication predispositions to highlight strengths and areas for improvement.
  6. Delegating and ensuring execution — including feedback

    • Delegation requires clarity and precision. Participants learn how to delegate tasks effectively and ensure accountability for delivery. We also cover feedback methods such as the “feedback sandwich” and the FUKO framework to support constructive team dynamics..
  7. Building authority and team engagement—especially with younger generations

    • In the final module, we focus on building leadership authority and strengthening team engagement. Participants learn how to work effectively with younger generations who often expect a modern management approach. Practical exercises help leaders build credibility and motivate teams to achieve strong results.
